This quote is one of Joanne's favorites and it really speaks to her own incredible bravery. When we began filming, Joanne was 43, living in a small apartment in New York City, and working on Wall Street in finance. Joanne's story is inspirational because her first fertility doctor told her she couldn't get pregnant due to her age. Luckily Joanne didn't take no for an answer. After changing clinics, Joanne became pregnant after her first IVF. Her son Tyler was born in August, 2004.
